Marketing Lead:
DU Innovation Labs
On campus, I serve as the Marketing Lead at the Innovation Labs. I was entrusted with rebuilding the marketing team during my first year, and I have since advanced to the lead position. This role has presented numerous challenges, but it has also been an incredible learning experience.
A key aspect of my job involves reaching out to campus clubs and organizations to explore potential collaborations for workshops and events with the Labs. This has given me the opportunity to witness the creation of spectacular projects by members of the DU community.
In addition to collaborating with clubs and organizations, I am responsible for training new team members to ensure they are proficient with our systems. I conduct one-on-one training sessions where I demonstrate the processes, then have them practice independently, providing support and answering questions as needed. By maintaining open lines of communication, I foster a safe and thriving environment for my team.
